Helpful Hints: How to select the perfect box or container When selecting a box to package your own unique favors that you've selected for your wedding or bridal shower you should consider the following when selecting the box. Size of Box: When selecting the size of the box you have 2 things to consider – the size of the favor that you will be put in the box and the size of the tables you will put these favors on so that you will make sure that they favors are not either to big or to small for the table or favors. Keep in mind that most favor boxes range between 2" and 3" so when viewing a photo on line make sure you review the actual size measurements so that you don't order the incorrect size favor box. Just because the box looks big in a photo doesn't mean that it's a box size that will work for your favors. Design of Box: Favor boxes are available in a wide variety of styles from basic cube colors to die cut butterfly designs to boxes that are printed with designs by theme. Weight of Box: If the weight of the treat you are going to use for your wedding make sure you select a heavy box so that the favor doesn't fall out of the box when your guest picks it up. You certainly don't need your guest spending the evening picking up their favors off the floor. Food Safe: If you're using a chocolate, candy, or other food item make sure you're favor box is food safe and if not that you use a food safe liner in the box.
